Meet the Coach
Head Coach Jackie Youngers Wiercinski
This is Coach Jackie’s first season as the varsity head coach at Pennridge. Jackie is a proud 2011 Pennridge alumna and former team captain who brings a strong connection to our program and community. We are excited to welcome her back to lead the next generation of Rams volleyball student-athletes.

At least one parent/guardian per player must attend the first parent meeting of the season.
Highlights of the agenda include:
Finalizing the girls’ t-shirt sizes & numbers for their warm-up jerseys
Collecting parent contact info
Reviewing details of fundraising, team building and all other event activities
Sharing the password for the new in-season website with event calendar, sign-up links, etc.
Welcome BBQ & Bonfire Bash
for Volleyball Families

We would like to welcome everyone to the Pennridge Volleyball family! The Booster Club, along with Coach Jackie, are hosting a Welcome BBQ & Bonfire at Tabora for all players and their families. Thanks so much to Caleb and Patricia Torrice for graciously hosting this year!
After the team is formed, an information sheet with a QR code will be given to each player. Families will need to
RSVP by end of day on Wed 8/19.
There will be a full catered dinner, a volleyball net, cornhole, spike ball, and a bonfire with s’mores to end the night! This is a chance for new members to meet veterans, and for parents to feel part of the team too!
First Scrimmage/ Pennsbury & Wissahickon
Mon, Aug 24 | 6-8:30pm
@Pennridge White Gym
The first scrimmage is at home against Pennsbury and Wissahickon!
Players should be at the gym by 5pm.
The JV game is 6-7pm vs Pennsbury, and the Varsity game is 6-8:30pm vs Wissahickon.
This will also be the first day our SNACK STAND WILL BE OPEN! We’ll be looking for volunteers to work shifts as well as help stock hot items and candy. Details and a Sign-Up Genius link will be shared at the 8/21 Parent Meeting.

Fundraising
All activities, equipment, gifts and the end of season banquet are funded by the Booster Club. We have made adjustments this year to make fundraising more efficient but we still need your help to make it a successful season!

To make the season a positive, fulfilling experience, and to promote on-the-court teamwork, the Booster Club hosts events throughout the season.

Volunteering
The Booster Club Officers have been organizing since January to prepare for a smooth season. As part of the Pennridge volleyball family, we ask that everyone contribute during the season. When everyone gives a little, it becomes easier for us all!
Some of the volunteer requirements & opportunities:
Snack Stand (Home Games): Work 2x during the season [JV parents work during varsity games]
[Varsity parents work during JV games]Snack Stand (Home Games): Donate 2 initial stock-up items and 2 hot food items
Dine & Donates: Sell 50/50 and raffle tickets
Dig Pink: Donate items for raffle baskets
Promote all fundraisers

About the Booster Club
The Volleyball Booster Club is dedicated to making the season a memorable and meaningful one for our players. Our goal is to support team building, give back to the community, and show school spirit throughout the season.
We do this through a variety of efforts—including fundraisers, events in partnership with the Side Out Foundation, and other team activities. We're always open to new ideas and can’t do it without your help! Whether you have a little time or a lot, your support makes a big difference.
